The Jan Bendyna Memorial Art Award for an aspiring Artist
The Jan Bendyna Memorial Award is presented to a graduating high school senior female who demonstrates exceptional artistic talent in any of a variety of media including: painting, drawing, sculpture, mosaic art, photography, fashion design. This young woman should be pursuing an education that leads to career in the art world.
Applicants must be prepared to present a portfolio of 2-5 pieces, should they be finalists in the selection process.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a senior female student in good standing residing in Cape May County.
- Must have applied to an accredited community college, college, or university for visual arts.
- Demonstrate Academic Potential: Applicant must be a student in good standing and highly motivated to continue her education.
Applicant must submit a transcript
Demonstrate Financial Need: Applicant should be sure indicate how the award would help her afford college expenses when writing essay.
